The Laboratory is undertaking four priority research programs covering the green and streamlined synthesis of organosilicon compounds, high-performance silicone resins, high-performance silica materials, and specialty organosilicon polymer materials.
These programs aim to develop internationally advanced green synthesis technologies for organosilicon compounds and enable the domestic production of high-performance silicon-based materials for specialized functional applications.

2.Organosilicon composite coating materials and alkali-free silicone-resin microencapsulation technologies.
3.Growth and evolution mechanisms, regulation principles, and ambient-pressure drying of multicomponent aerogel colloidal networks.
4.Key beneficiation technologies for high-grade quartz ore.
5.Preparation technologies for high-quality silica-aerogel thermal insulation materials and spherical silica micropowders.
6.Preparation technologies for high-value-added organosilicon polymer products.
