Professor Chi Ru 'an is a well-known expert in the field of chemical industry in my country. He has long been engaged in scientific research and technological development such as chemical separation and rare earth extraction. He has now presided over more than 30 national and provincial scientific research projects such as national key R & D plans, key projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, preliminary research projects of the 973 Plan, and the "Twelfth Five-Year Plan". He has won 6 first and second prizes in science and technology at the provincial and ministerial levels, and published 5 monographs. Authorizes 43 national invention patents and publishes more than 400 academic papers. He is among the top 2% of scientists in the world (including the Lifelong Scientific Influence Ranking and the 2022 Scientific Influence Ranking). In October 2023, he won the 2020-2022 "Chimes Award" of the Hubei Province Government.
He is currently the director of the National Phosphorus Resources Development and Utilization Engineering Technology Research Center, the director of the Engineering Research Center of the Ministry of Education for the Development and Utilization of Phosphorus Resources, and the director of the Key Laboratory of Green Chemical Process of the Ministry of Education. In December 2021, he was hired as director of Hubei Three Gorges Laboratory.
