In response to the development needs of Hubei’s modern chemical industry, Hubei Three Gorges Laboratory focuses on four major research areas: pollution control and comprehensive utilization of phosphogypsum, critical chemicals for microelectronics, advanced phosphorus-based chemicals and applications, and basic silicon-based chemicals and applications.

The Laboratory is committed to basic research, applied basic research, and the development of critical technologies for industrial application in green chemical engineering.
